The UDIC will shortly begin a clinical trial to evaluate the subcutaneous administration of levodopa, through continuous perfusion, to treat motor fluctuations in advanced Parkinson’s. For the first time, this use of an “ultra concentrated” levodopa that can allow its subcutaneous administration. The use of a continuous infusion pump can obtsin an adequate control of the severe motor blocks that our patients suffer.
